GLIAC Preseason Volleyball Poll Ranks WSU Second In South
DETROIT - Wayne State University was predicted to finish in second place behind defending conference champion Hillsdale in the South Division of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, according to the 2010 GLIAC preseason poll released Tuesday afternoon.
The Warriors tallied 27 points in the poll, nine fewer than the Chargers. Ashland was tabbed for third in the South Division (26 points), followed by the Findlay Oilers (24) who also received a first-place vote.
Ferris State and Grand Valley State each totaled 32 points to tie for first in the North Division, according to the voting.
